With the upcoming presidential election just around the corner and as the country continues to feel the effects of the current pandemic, there’s a lot for small business owners to consider. Recently, candidate Joe Biden put together an advisory council on small businesses and entrepreneurship, that includes former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, Andrew Yang. In this special episode, host Gene Marks talks with Yang about the small business initiatives that Biden released on September 23, and what we might expect to see under a Biden/Harris administration. Hear as he talks about plans for additional relief for those that missed the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the importance of making distinctions between small businesses and large firms, and Biden’s stance on labor and what that means for small business owners.
